Hello to everyone in the forum I'm a big Dozer fan, love your music, hope your forum takes off to the f**king sun ;D It seems Scandanavia is the place to be for all the best music today. Dozer, Gas Giant, On Trial, Baby Woodrose, Truckfighters, five of my all time favourite bands. I have a question for the band if you want to reply. I suppose first of all I should ask whether you guys listen to any psychedelic/garage rock from the 60s or from today? Which leads me onto the question Have Dozer ever thought of mixing some pyschedelic/garage sound into their music? I have just bought 2 albums of 60s covers; Head by On Trial and Dropout by Baby Woodrose and I have been totally blown away by how good the music was back in the 60s. Forza the Dozer forum ;D

Well hey hey. ; )
Yeah, I listen to a lot of 60's psychedelic/garage bands like for example The Electric Prunes, 13th Floor Elevators, Wailers (no, not Bob Marley's back-up band ; ) ). The Sonics, Love, The Music Machine, etc. I know atleast Tommi digs that stuff a lot too.
We don't have any real plans to implement more 60's stuff in DOZER. If we're doing a song and it feels right to get some 60's psychedelic stuff in there, we'll do it, but there aren't any plans to go in that particular direction. If you like more psychedelic stuff you should check out mine & Tommi's other band GREENLEAF. We've released 2 albums and 1 ep and that stuff is definetely a bit more out there.
And yeah, we also hope the forum takes off to the f**king sun. ; ) We'll all atleast be very active in answering questions n stuff here.

Yeah, I have to say I like the way you guys went with CIC: a little less stoner, a little more of an early Seventies heavy rock feel. Totally rocked my little world, I can tell you! I hope you carry on developing along that route!

Thanks for the feedback frances, I have heard the awesome Greenleaf song Ten Thousand Years. I think thats what it is called.
I tried to search for the Greenleaf site, but I couldn't find it. Have you got a URL for the site?

Dras: Yeah, not that we have anything against stonerrock, but I think we're moving away more and more from that genre. It's just happened that way.
Ronnie: It's called 10 000 Years Of Revolution and it's the first "real" track on the Secret Alphabets album (which is available through Small Stone/All That's Heavy). The site (and the band) is put on ice due to the fact that since I joined DOZER there's basically 3/4 of GREENLEAF in DOZER. Me, Tommi & Fredrik (who do occasional vocals). We're gonna do some more stuff in the future but it's going to be way trippier and weirder stuff than we've done so far. For me atleast, I get all the rocking I want to get out with DOZER. So with GREENLEAF I wanna really freak out and just go PINK FLOYD deluxé.

God, that shows how slow I can be. I've had that Greenleaf 10" for ages and never made the connection. I need to wake up ... maybe one of those UK cold showers will do the trick. ;D ;D ;D

Hey Hendrik! Yeah, OK, a couple of years at least. I was going through the second hand stuff (also in a small record shop) and I remembered the band name from Stonerrock.com - took the plunge! It's the one with "Get Your Love Outta Here", "Sold My Lady ..." etc.
