I saw you guys at Exeter with Mastodon. I came down to the gig as you were playing! I'm a big fan of Call It Conspiracy (did you realise that the LP sounds waaay better than the CD, by the way) and I'm only partly familiar with the older stuff. What mix of stuff did you play that night? I only heard a few songs off CIC ... Dare I mention it, you guys didn't look too happy, or is that my imagination?

I don't remember exactly what we played, but I know for sure we played 3 brand new songs and hmm.. what could it have been from CIC? Either Rising, Feelgood Formula, or both of em. ; )
Hehe, the thing is that we didn't get a soundcheck earlier that day cause the staff at the venue were some of the slowest people I have ever witnessed. I can only speak for myself here, but when we started playing I couldn't hear anything what any of the other guys were doing. I was looking over at the monitor guy like a thousand times to try and get some of the other guys in the monitor but he was busy playing with his cell phone(!).. And it's harder to do a good show when you basically have no idea what's going on with the other guys. So yeah, you're not way off.. ; )

Oh and yeah, vinyl will always surpass CD. =) I'm a huge analogue / valve amp / vinyl nut and always buy vinyl over CD if there's a choice.

That explains a lot and makes a hell of a lot of sense. Actually, the venue, from my point of view, was pretty bloody weird anyway. We couldn't take drinks out of the bar so a couple of my friends had to miss the first few songs of yours and Mastodon's set. I can't remember a gig when we couldn't stand with a drink - alcoholic or not - and watch the bands! Ah well ...

I saw you at the Cathouse in Glasgow, saw you there when you supported Clutch and Spiritual Beggars too. So...thats twice I've seen you and twice you've been the best band on the bill.
Loved the new song you played, can't remember what it was called - I'll find out when I get the new album:)
Is it as loud on stage as it is out front at the Cathouse?! ;D

Well thank you very much, on both counts. I think we might've played 2 new songs actually.. was it a longer song or a short faster one? And from what I remember, it's not too bad on stage actually.

It was a fairly long song with an effect on the vocals in parts, really liked it.
I wish I lived in Sweden, so many good bands there!

Tossom - I've often thought the same thing myself. Scandinavia in general, what the hell's in the water there? Many of my all-time favourite bands come from Sweden/Norway/Denmark - The Hellacopters, Turbonegro, Gluecifer, Grand Magus, Spiritual Beggars, Baby Woodrose, At The Gates ... and Dozer, of course!

tossom: okay, then it was a new tune called Big Sky Theory; one of my absolute favorites of all the new material.

You forgot The Awesome Machine, Mushroom River band, Span, Danko Jones (sort of), The Quill and Boogieman. Pretty sure I've forgotten a few too actually... It's not fair, the music scene in the UK is, for want of a better word, pish.

Quill and Danko Jones, yes, I like them. As for the rest, I'll check them out. I may have heard an Awesome Machine track but can't remember, maybe on K666 Radio ...

Boogieman has gone R.I.P. Borlänge itself has got a remarkable big amount of heavy rockers, if you concider it's size... ...don't you think, ni Borlänge-bor? Not including neather Mando Diao or Sugar Plum Fairy. ('Cause it ain't so heavy...)
